Time is getting short…

14 more weeks

The Art & Craft of Writing!

The last three posts have been devoted to interviews with three of the of the writers who will be presenters during the Pamlico Writers Conference on March 8, 2014, in Washington, NC.  Hopefully you have had a chance to read them. In the weeks to follow, we are planning more interviews with the remaining eight presenters. Our aim is to give you a brief glimpse of these inspiring writers and interest you in learning more. For more information on presenters, workshops, panels, etc., take a moment and go to our website Pamlico Writers Competition and Contest. While you’re there, don’t forget to sign up so you’ll get to attend the workshops you want.

For those of you planning to submit a piece of your writing into the competition, there are only eleven weeks remaining before the February 23, 2014 submission deadline. With the holidays fast approaching, time seems to get away from all of us. It’s hard to attack all of the projects we either need or want to do. So if you haven’t yet written that piece or just need to refine it, it’s time to get started. And for those closet writers (you know who you are), it’s time for you to be brave. Step out of that comfort zone and submit a piece of your writing as well. We promise we won’t bite.
